  • DONATE

If you'd like to donate to our centre but don't know where to start, check out our FAQs below for all the details. As always, we appreciate you thinking of us!

What items do you accept?
We accept everything from nappies and kitchenware to clothing and small pieces of furniture. Our general rule of thumb is to donate items that you would be happy to receive yourself - please do not donate items that are visibly worn, ripped, broken, dirty or in poor condition. Scroll down for more details.

When & where can we bring donations?
Please bring your items to our centre in Shepherds Bush. Just buzz our Office and a member of staff will meet you at door #4 (a little further up the street).

Our centre is open to receive donations from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and our address is:
Shepherds Bush Families project
58a Bulwer Street
London, W12 8AR

How are the items distributed?
We hold a monthly giveaway day where all the donated items in our store are taken up to our main hall and laid out on tables. Parents are invited to the centre where they can look through what's available and take anything they need.

What happens to items that are left behind?
We bag these up and donate them to TRAID, an organisation that turns clothing waste into funds and resources to reduce the environmental and social impacts of our clothes. Your donations get a third chance at life in a way that's both eco-friendly & sustainable - something we feel strongly about here at SBFP.

I don't have any second-hand items to donate but I'd like to help in some other way. Is there anything you need?
We're always in need of day-to-day items such as hygiene products, nappies, diet specific foods (gluten free, dairy free etc). These items can be brought to our centre in person. We've also had people order online and have them delivered directly to our centre - if you'd prefer to do this, please call or email us in advance.  Scroll down for more details.

You can also make a monthly or one-off cash contribution which goes towards our core costs (food for provisions, activities, utility bills etc), click here to donate.
