Tracy Webb - Chair
Tracy has worked in healthcare throughout her career and is currently the Director of Services and Impact at Teenage Cancer Trust. She is particularly passionate about supporting young people to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. She has been the Chair of SBFP since 2016 and is incredibly proud of the work the charity does. In her spare time Tracy loves visiting her family in Wales and cuddling her cat, Thomas! |
Fred Morgan - Treasurer
|
Jessica Campbell - Vice chair & secretary
Jessica is a theatre producer who has worked across West London - at the Bush Theatre, the Coronet Theatre in Notting Hill and at Theatre 503 in Battersea. She now works at the National Theatre and is passionate about the legal, housing and counselling support Shepherds Bush Families Project provides (as well as the communal kitchen!). She is proud to be on the board of a charity so vital to the families of Shepherd's Bush. |
Max Goldzweig
Max is a science journalist and TV producer who spent 10 years living and working in Shepherd’s Bush at the BBC. He has also been a youth leader in the Woodcraft Folk, an educational movement that gives children and young people a place to grow in confidence and learn about the world. He is proud to have the opportunity to help SBFP continue it’s life changing work and support of the local community. |
David Nicklin
David has been an NHS physiotherapist for 8 years and is currently the lead physiotherapist across the Pain Management services at his trust. Since moving to London in 2013 he has volunteered for a London-based charity who provide mentors for children with behavioural difficulties as well as fundraising for local charities through bi-annual music events, combining his passion for music, friendship and local organisations. David is really looking forward to meeting and working with everyone at SBFP in what will be his first trustee role. |
Laura Semple
Laura joined the board of trustees in 2021 after learning about the terrific work SBFP does in supporting families and children to live fulfilling and healthy lives. Laura is a senior leader in the NHS, having worked in various operational and healthcare improvement roles since she joined the NHS as a graduate trainee in 2009. Prior to that Laura worked in editorial at a large educational publishing house in Berlin. From late 2016 Laura was the first non-clinician to volunteer long-term with the King's Sierra Leone Partnership based in the teaching hospital in the capital Freetown, Sierra Leone. She is committed to playing her part in improving health locally and globally and is proud to be a trustee of SBFP. Laura currently works as Director for National programmes for the 15 Academic Health Science Networks in England. |
Salma Ahmed
Salma joined the board of trustees in 2021 & is delighted to work with SBFP&CC, an extraordinary organisation that provides assistance to so many through their generosity. Salma did her work experience at SBFP&CC's preschool, which enhanced her knowledge & experience through training alongside the Early Years practitioners. She also attained her Level 2 Certificate - the ' Children and Young People's Workforce' and 'Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Practitioner' (Early Years Educator). She is extremely passionate about working with children & young people - it makes her happy to see them grow, develop and achieve their best of abilities. Salma enjoys walking & spending quality time with family and friends. She is very proud to be on the board of SBFP&CC, as it affords her a chance to contribute to her local community. |
Saliha Djebbar
Saliha became acquainted with SBFP&CC in 2012 through the drop-in service that she attended with her son. Impressed by the project's mission & community support, Saliha wanted to learn more about SBFP's goals, and how she could provide assistance as a parent using the service. In her native home of Algeria, Saliha worked with children & taught Darija (the Algerian dialect of Arabic), whilst studying for her undergraduate in English. Passionate about supporting the development of children, she is now a teaching assistant at Wood Lane School - a role that brings her immense joy. She adores birds (but believes they should be free to fly) and is fond of her indoor plants. |
