Our Trustees

Tracy Webb:  Chair
Tracy grew up in South Wales and studied History at the University of Warwick. Upon graduating she moved to Yorkshire and began a career in healthcare management. Tracy worked for the NHS for 10 years, firstly as a manager in Leeds Teaching Hospitals and then as a Policy lead in NHS England. Tracy currently works as a Senior Improvement Fellow at the Health Foundation, based in central London. In her spare time Tracy enjoys running and watching welsh rugby!

Monika Szulak: Treasurer

Monika came to England fro Hungary 20 years ago and is our parent representative on the board of trustees as well as being a valued member of the board in her own right. Monika has a degree in accountancy which she studied for whilst living the experiences the families we work with deal with on a daily basis and bringing up her young son. This has allowed her the opportunity to offer support to the project as our treasurer. Monika received support from the project to complete her studies. She is currently working as a receptionist at the Masbro Children's Centre

Alarys Gibson:
  Secretary

After graduating from Oxford with a degree in Languages, and subsequently training as a secondary school teacher at London University, Alarys had a career in international advertising and marketing in London and Paris before starting up her own headhunting company. In parallel she worked as a volunteer counsellor with Childline before taking on a paid role there. She has subsequently worked in publishing which dovetails neatly into her personal love of literature, particularly writing on women and family issues. Her greatest loves, however, are her baby grandson and dog, with both of whom she spends as much time as possible!

Fred Morgan:
Director

Fred  is an English teacher of 12 years experience in the state sector and so understands how vital it is to the success of young people and families to have a safe and nurturing space outside of the classroom where they can be supported.  As a life long resident of Shepherd's Bush, he was aware of the vital work SBFP did in the local community before becoming a trustee in 2018.  Since working more closely with the committed team and families at SBFP, he has been even more impressed by the positive impact the charity has on so many people's lives.

Dr Debbie Tseung

Debbie grew up in Hong Kong and New Zealand. She has also spent some time navigating the labyrinthine UK immigration system. She hopes her experience can help SBFP’s families from immigrant backgrounds overcome similar obstacles and be proud of their identities. Debbie likes thinking about how political and economic structures can be designed to minimise inequalities and unfairness. She likes the subject so much that she has taught it at universities and holds a doctorate on it from the University of Oxford. She is not yet sure how to put her thoughts into practice but, in the meantime, she hopes her background in tertiary education can contribute to SBFP’s young adult and adult education programmes.

Mugabi Turya
Mugabi is committed to the cause of helping families and young people. He worked as a legal aid lawyer representing clients in child protection, immigration, education and family law matters. Mugabi now works a Producer for the BBC World Service creating TV and radio programmes. In recent years he has volunteered at The Passage, a charity that focuses on homelessness, with Prison Radio, creating programmes for prisoners and as a mentor to young people aspiring to work in the media.

Therese Lloyd

Therese spent her childhood between England, France and Sweden, but is now a fully-fledged Londoner, and has lived locally to SBFP for the last 20 years.  She currently works at the Health Foundation as a Senior Statistician, evaluating the impact of changes to health care within the NHS. When she wasn’t working as a statistician, she co-founded a company that makes healthy drinks and foods.  She has a Master’s degree in Statistics from Lund University, Sweden.

Tamara Yuvaz
Tamara undertook a volunteer placement at SBFP before becoming a Trustee. With a background of supporting her local community from a young age, she wishes to continue by ensuring the centre has the best resources it can to offer a good quality service to children and parents. She lives very local to the centre and is aware of the diverse needs of the families that attend.  As a young graduate with a LL.B and a LL.M from the LSE, she aspires to learn more about the strategic management of the charity to then benefit the users both in the short and long term.

Jessica Campbell
Jessica is a Theatre Producer working for the Bush Theatre, a stone's throw away from SBFP rooted in the local community. She has worked in theatre across West London - at the Coronet Theatre in Notting Hill and Theatre503 in Battersea - and the capital and the company she co-founded, DEM Productions, won the Off West End Award for Best Producer. Jessica is proud to be on the board of a charity so vital to the families of Shepherd's Bush.
