We are always keen to work with volunteers and value the experience and knowledge volunteers can bring and we are also keen to share our skills and best practice to ensure volunteers have a positive, enhancing experience whilst working at our centre.

We are particularly looking for volunteers in the following areas:

  • Pre-school provision - working with our Early Years Team to support Children's Learning Through Play
  • Parent & Child Drop-in - working with our Early Years Team to support parents in the drop-in 
  • Administration Support - basic and general administration such as answering phones, receiving callers, filing and word processing
  • IT Support - updating and correlating data information 
  • After School & Holiday Provision - supporting our after school practitioners  working with children & young people aged 5-16 yrs, includes homework support

We are also looking for volunteers to support our work through offering:
  • Advice & Advocacy on a range of issues - but specifically homeless, housing and benefits 
  • Legal knowledge and expertise both on our Board of Trustees and day to day work of the organisation

 All we ask is a minimum 6 month commitment. References will be provided for volunteers where agreed.
